    Open days to see the Echium spp., & cvs., from the Macaronesian Islands National Plant Collection displayed within part of a historic 18th Century walled garden (currently under renovation) adjacent to Thoresby Hall. This new garden, open for the first time to visitors in 2018, will showcase Echium species planted into mixed herbaceous borders and containers.

    Open day to see the National Plant Collections: Echinopsis (Abbey Brook hybrid & Schick Collections) and Epiphyllum (hybrids raised by Eric Hopkinson) and Haworthiopsis. Glasshouse collection in nursery with extensive views over the Derwent valley.

Walled town garden, modern asymmetric design, gravel areas, pond and thickly planted with wide range of trees, shrubs, herbaceous perennials and bulbs. Garden contains a changing array of sculpture from found and recycled objects. The climbers grow on specially designed copper trellis and on the walls of an enclosed small town garden. Many unusual and interesting plants for sale, all propagated from the garden.
    Open day to see three National Plant Collections of Araliaceae (excl. Hedera) and Podocarpus & related Podocarpaceae and Eucalyptus. National Plant Collection of Eucalyptus gives structure to 1½ acre plantsman's garden filled with architectural, exotic & rare plants. Recent addition is a 20 acre meadow with ½ mile of Meon river frontage.
    Open day to see the National Plant Collection Geranium sanguineum, macrorrhizum & x cantabrigiense. National Plant Collection planted in a dedicated area with some cultivars duplicated in mixed borders around a 1.5 acre garden.

    Open day to see the National Plant Collection, Hemerocallis (spider & unusual forms). The National Plant Collection is housed in raised beds and garden setting within a total of 1800+ cultivars. It will be peak bloom time.
    Open Days for the National Plant Collection of Hemerocallis – post 2004 hybrid registrations, suited to the UK climate. Strictly Daylilies is a 4 acre working nursery for trialling, sales and hybridization of new cultivars. Dedicated display beds for the National Collection as well as an official American Hemerocallis Society display garden and a Historic Daylily display garden.
    Open day to see the National Plant Collection, Akebia.
