The Cheshire Group meets on the last Wednesday of each month from September to April at the Toft Cricket Club, which can be found on the Chelford Road out of Knutsford.
We have a variety of visiting speakers: Collection Holders, Head Gardeners, Nurserymen etc. Many bring plants for sale. Details of talks for 2010 can be found on the Events page.
In the summer occasional visits to Gardens are arranged. In addition, there are two major acitivities organized by the Group.

The first is the Rare Plant Fair held at Arley Hall in May.

The other is preparing a display for the RHS Tatton Show in July.
In 2009 we were awarded a Silver Medal, having won 2 Golds and a Silver Gilt at the Show in the previous 4 years.
This is an important 'shop window' for Plant Heritage and the National Collection Holders, as the display principally consists of plants from National Collections.
The Cheshire Group also sells plants, grown by its members, at the Show, In addition, we participate in the Arley Hall Spring Plant Fair in April and the Summer Garden Festival in June.
