WELCOME TO THE HERTS AND BEDS AREA OF PLANT HERITAGE

We are one of the smaller NCCPG groups, but we have an enthusiastic membership and an eclectic mix of National Plant Collections®. Visitors from other groups and non-members are made very welcome at our events.
We run a programme of talks, garden visits and social events. Our talks take place at
Verulamium Roman Museum, St. Michael's Street, St. Albans. Talks usually last about an hour, followed by refreshments and a chance to talk to the speaker and local members afterwards. Please look at our events list for a comprehensive list of our 2010 programme.
Our
Grand Plant Sale is at a new and exciting venue this year, Luton Hoo Walled Garden, on 18th April. The garden is in the process of being restored to its fromer glory and is being brought back into cultivation. We hope that guided tours will be available. This is a rare opportunity to see an historic garden which is only occasionally open to the public.
We are expecting 20 specialist nurseries.
We are proud to be hosting
Roy Lancaster on Thursday 15th April who will talk on "April in England" . See our events list for details.
Our Group produces regular newsletters to keep everyone in touch with our activities. Read
