We have a varied programme of lectures, plant sales and visits for 2011 - see the Events page.

Our lectures take place at 2.30pm on Saturday afternoons during the winter & spring and are held in the Durant Hall of the Unitarian Church in Ellison Place, Newcastle NE1 8XG. It's behind Mea House, off Durant Road, near the City Centre.

Meetings are free to members and we welcome all visitors (£2 per meeting).

We have two plant sales each year. Watch out for the Great North Plant Sale at Kirkley Hall College near Ponteland, where you will find a very wide range of interesting and unusual plants all grown by members.

Later in the year, the Grand Plant Fair at Blagdon Hall in Northumberland is where you're sure of being able to find that perfect plant for your garden from local and regional nurseries; garden sundries are also available and there are wonderful home made cakes to keep you going!

We also organise an Annual Prestige Lecture to bring the very best speakers in Horticulture to the North East and arrange visits to local plant nurseries and usually a day trip too. 

Finally, members can join our very popular weekend bus trip.
