Welcome to the North West Group. Our area covers Cumbria, Lancashire, Greater Manchester and Merseyside. We support 22 national collections.
Throughout the year we have a series of workshops, talks, visits to collections, and trips to interesting gardens. We also have plant stalls at a range of events. This year we are hosting workshops on Demeter plant recording software, on the Threatened Plants Project, and on clematis cultivation and propagation.
Members receive twice-yearly copies of the Plant Heritage magazine from the National Office and our own local Newsletters. Members can also participate in the Plant Exchange scheme, which offers plants rarely - if ever - found in nurseries.
We welcome new members of all age groups and levels of experience who are interested in supporting the conservation of gardens and garden plants. Why not come along to one of our events and find out more?
