NCs are displayed in the nursery garden amongst other interesting and unusual herbaceous perennials and grasses. Anemone nemorosa are in outside containers, on display in the nursery early spring. Plants are clearly labelled and most are for sale.
Best time to view
Anemone nemorosa: late Mar-early Apr. Aster(Symphyotrichum): mid-late Sept. Sanguisorba: Jul-end Aug.
Opening Times
Mar-Sep, Mon-Sat, 10am-12.30pm, 2pm-5pm; Sun 10.30am-4.30pm
Free, NGS days £3. Charge for group visits, please book ahead.
Leave A46 northbound at exit for A45 to Birmingham. On slip road before A45 bear L, then turn L onto Howes Lane (no signpost). Immediately turn L onto Mill Hill, signed Baginton. Go over a narrow bridge, Avondale Nursery is on the R. Map on our website.
