Not strictly speaking a piece of Plant Heritage news, but any help for young horticulturalists is worthy of wider publication.
The Hardy Plant Society has a bursary scheme - the Kenneth Black Scheme - which provides young people (under the age of 30) with awards to support travel and subsistence. Each award is up to £500 and will allow a horticulturalist to visit such places as botanical gardens, note-worthy gardens, National Collections and herbaria.
