More plants gain protection
Congratulations to the 4 new Collection Holders, Mr Barry Clarke (Lobelia species), Mr M Bishop (Erythronium hybrids and Polypodium cambricum cultivars), Joan Taylor (Geranium nodosum) and Beth Smith (Phlomis).
Barry is already well known to Plant Heritage members for his Collection displays at Hampton Court and his excellent grafting and propagating workshops. However, unlike his Rubus collection, many of the lobelia species are far from edible - rejoicing in such names as Vomitwort and Pukeweed!
