New Collections!
Plant Heritage's National Plant Collection Scheme got a boost with 12 new or upgraded collections.
Full status was awarded to:
Brian Ellis for Aster novae-angliae
Philip Bolt for Cardiocrinum
Mr and Mrs Ross for Hesperantha coccinea cvs (Schizostylis)
Mr and Mrs Donald for Narcissus - pre1930 daffodils
Michael Woolls-Blanco for Restionaceae (tall growing)
Ms White for Sanguisorba (collection now fully established in new home)
Provisional status was awarded to:
Mr & Mrs Bunn for Eucryphia
Ms Shapiro for Hepatica species and cultivars (excluding H. nobilis var. japonica cvs)
Ms Carson for Siberian iris cvs: British Award winners and historically significant
National Trust for Scotland, Branklyn Gardens for Meconopsis, large perennial spp. & hybrids
Crown Estate Commissioners, Savill & Valley Gardens for Prunus incisa cvs
Brian Ellis for Sanguisorba
