Top Awards to Collection Holders at Hampton Court Palace Flower Show

Plant Heritage is delighted to announce that a staggering 12 National Collection Holders have been awarded Gold Awards at the Hampton Court Palace Flower Show this year.
 
Huge congratulations to Jim Marshall who was awarded Gold for his display of Malmaisons in an Edwardian Florist Shop in the Plant Heritage marquee, as well as Best Exhibit.
 
Mickfield Hostas was also awarded a Gold Medal while Selina Botham of Designs For All Seasons, was awarded a Silver Gilt Flora for her Central Feature design. Downderry Nursery and Barry Clarke, with his National Collection of Rubus, were also awarded Silver Gilt Flora.
 
Silver Flora Awards have been presented to The British Pteriodological Society who are exhibiting with Plant Heritage this year as well as Gary and Maria Firth who are showing their Myrtles for the first time; Pollie Maasz for her Hemerocallis, Sarah Cook and Anne Milner for their joint display of Iris and Tynings Climbers for their exhibit of Jasminum.
 
David Austin Roses has won Best Rose Exhibit as well as a Gold Award and Peter Beales Roses a Silver Gilt Flora.
 
In the Floral Marquee Gold Awards went to Dibleys Nurseries, Downderry Nursery, Fibrex Nursery (x 2), Hewitt Cooper Carnivorous Plants, The National Dahlia Collection, Plantagogo, Tale Valley, Tynings Climbers. Cannifer Ltd, Hoyland Plant Centre and Botanical Nursery gained a Silver Gilt whilst West Country Lupins have a Silver Flora.
