Middlethorpe Hall and Spa

Middlethorpe Hall and Spa is a William III country house set in 20 acres of gardens and parkland, close to the city of York. Built in 1699, it was once the home of famous diarist Lady Mary Wortley Montagu. After a period of neglect the Hall was sympathetically restored and was donated to the National Trust in 2008. It is one of the National Trust's Historic House Hotels, and in 2016 it became the National Collection Holder of Cardamine.
