Synonym: Cynorkis guttata

Description:

Found in its native habitat to be growing on rocky outcrops in the highland regions of central and eastern Madagascar. Believed to be pollinated by butterflies and moths, this orchid flowers in early spring. These plants have a relatively short growing cycle of 5-6 months through April to September. Water sparingly during dormancy, keep shady and moist when in growth. Preferred temperature is between 6-10 °C, with ideal humidity at 40-60%.
