Description:
The Camellia register records as listed in Fruitland Nursery Catalogue, 1943-1944, p.27, & is described as a variegated form of Finlandia. It is considered that this cultivar is the parent of the Finlandia complex of sports & that it originated in Japan. Average, compact, evergreen shrub, valued for luxuriant rich green foliage and medium, semi-double, white flowers with crimson streaks. Prefers sheltered site, sunny or shade & any well drained neutral/acid soil. Flowers early - mid spring.
