Ajuga reptans ‘Rowden Amethyst’


Description:

Introduction from the specialist nursery of John & Galen Carter which began in 1982 & went on to develop four National Collections. Four Ajuga with the Rowden prefix were described in the Rowden Gardens catalogue of 2006 with 'Rowden Amethyst' described as 'Large spires of deepest amethyst violet, dark purple almost black foliage, vigorous.' The site continues as a plant nursery under the name of Tor Garden Plants.
