Camellia japonica ‘Wilamina’


Description:
Originated in USA by C.A. Pederson, Downey. California. First recorded 1951. A compact evergreen shrub of upright habit, small 'formal double' flowerheads with incurved petals which are soft pink in colour and sometimes tinged with white. The flower heads are flat with lots of overlapping petals which get smaller towards the centre of the flower. Flowers in mid to late spring, prefers partial shade. The dark, glossy evergreen leaves are a year round attraction.
