Callistemon subulatus
(Myrtaceae family) comes from New South Wales and Victoria
in Australia. Withstands extended waterlogging and limited
dry periods. I grow it in a stone container where it has happily
flowered for many years now. Very showy. Most C. rigidus
sold in the UK are in fact C. subulatus.
