Justicia brandegeeana
(syn: Beloperone guttata) (Acanthaceae family) is
a greenhouse or house plant, easy to flower from Spring
to Autumn. It is commonly called the Shrimp plant because
the flesh-coloured bracts overlap like a shrimp's body (the
white flowers protrude from these.) It comes from Mexico.
There is also a form with green/yellow bracts called 'Chatreuse'
