Description

Fascinating and unique genus, mostly hardy. Each species has a spathe in a range of colours surrounding a spadix, some with a pseudostem with snake-like patination. They inhabit most continents. Varying in height from 20-180 cms, the collection is planted in a well drained garden, and two greenhouses.
