    An open day to see the National Plant Collection, Rosa (Hybrid musk intro by Pemberton & Bentall 1912-1939). The beds of Pemberton roses are within the gardens of Dutton Hall.

    Open day to see the National Plant Collection, Hemerocallis (spider & unusual forms). The National Plant Collection is housed in raised beds and garden setting within a total of 1800+ cultivars. It will be peak bloom time.

    Open Days for the National Plant Collection of Hemerocallis – post 2004 hybrid registrations, suited to the UK climate. Strictly Daylilies is a 4 acre working nursery for trialling, sales and hybridization of new cultivars. Dedicated display beds for the National Collection as well as an official American Hemerocallis Society display garden and a Historic Daylily display garden.
    Visit: private garden followed by Edulis Nursery

    Plant fair: Blagdon Hall Estate, Seaton Burn. Regional nurseries and open grounds.
    Open day to see the National Plant Collection, Akebia. There is a walled town garden, modern asymmetric design, gravel areas, pond and thickly planted with wide range of trees, shrubs, herbaceous perennials and bulbs. Garden contains a changing array of sculpture from found and recycled objects. The climbers grow on specially designed copper trellis and on the walls of an enclosed small town garden.  Many unusual and interesting plants for sale, all propagated from the garden.
    Open week for the National Plant Collection of Santolina (Western European spp. & cvs.). Dedicated landscaped display area.

    Open days to see the National Plant Collections, Monarda and Nepeta. Both National Plant Collections are grown in the 2 acre garden, Hole’s Meadow. Some of the other planting includes over 200 herbs, a young prairie garden, orchard, ornamental trees and maturing native woodland area interspersed with pathways.

    Open day to see the National Plant Collection, Dahlia. Over 1,700 varieties of Dahlia to see growing in our 15 acre display garden. The Dahlia team will be present on the open day but not necessarily at other times.
    Open day to see the National Plant Collections: Codiaeum, Dracaena, Fuchsia hardy spp. & cvs., Solenostemon. Public display glasshouses within the gardens at Croxteth Park contain the Codiaeum, Dracaena and Solenostemon National Plant Collections. The two acre Victorian Walled Garden at Croxteth Hall was built around 1850. It produced a year round supply of fresh fruit, vegetable and cut flowers for the Hall until the last Earl died in 1972. Bedding display, herbaceous and mixed borders, trained fruit trees, herb garden, roses, soft fruits and a fuchsia collection.
    Open day to see the National Plant Collections: Aloe & Gasteria (hybrids raised by Peter Brandham), Conophytum, Lithops spp.. Glasshouse collection in nursery with extensive views over the Derwent valley.
