Gail Goodwin

Gail’s early career was as a journalist in radio, television and print, combined with PR consultancy. She worked on material for Channel 4, BBC Radio 4 and Scottish Television, and was also a course manager/lecturer for a BTEC National Diploma in journalism and the Media and Communications Manager for 7 years for the National Foundation for Educational Research (NFER).
Most recently Gail has been a consultant in Communications and PR working on a variety of projects, including work for the Bumblebee Conservation Trust, Eteach and a number of local businesses in Surrey. She is a Board member of the Guildford Samaritans with specific responsibility for PR, editorial and marketing, and volunteer recruitment.
Gail has a degree in Chinese Studies from Durham University and a Certificate in Education from Southampton University. She lives in Guildford and joined Plant Heritage in 2015.
