Talk: ‘The art and science of compost making’ by Lois Philipps, specialist in organic agriculture. 
Lois specialises in organic agriculture and has 25 years of experience in research and advisory work. Her competencies include soil water and nutrient management amongst others - this promises to be an interesting talk.
Plant Sales (before 2pm) and raffle. Teas, coffees & homemade cakes after meeting. Please do bring along any interesting seasonal plants that you'd like to show to the group. Donations of raffle prizes also much appreciated.
Visitors very welcome, admission £2 (members free).

We are seeking a Plant Conservation Officer to support our conservation programmes: National Plant Collections, Plant Guardians,Threatened Plants Programme; with responsibility for plant records and data.
