Talk: 'The ornamental use of roses in British gardens through the centuries' by Phil Lusby, RBGE.
Phil Lusby runs a course for RBGE on The Rose - An appreciation. A perennial favourite among flower lovers and perfumiers worldwide, roses are of huge cultural and horticultural importance. The course includes a visit to a National Plant Collection of roses.
(Joint talk with Royal Caledonian Horticultural Society.)
