Cheshire Group

The Cheshire Group meets on the last Wednesday of each month from September to April at the Toft Cricket Club, Knutsford (WA16 8QP) which can be found on the Chelford Road (A 537) out of Knutsford.

We have a variety of visiting speakers: Collection Holders, Head Gardeners, Nurserymen etc. Many bring plants for sale. Details of talks can be found on the Cheshire Group Website.

Rare Plant Sale at Arley Hall, Cheshire

In the summer, occasional visits to Gardens are arranged.  In addition, the group participates in a number of Plant Fairs.  We regularly attend the Spring Plant Fair (April) and the Garden Festival (June) at Arley Hall, selling plants grown by our members.

In 2018 we were awarded a Silver Medal, following on from successful Gold and Silver-Gilt medal wins in previous years.

This is an important 'shop window' for Plant Heritage and the National Collection Holders, as the display principally consists of plants from National Collections.
