Essex Group

Welcome to the ESSEX Plant Heritage Group's page.

Why not come and join us? We are a small but enthusiastic group working hard to grow our membership. You  might have already met some of us at one of the Spring and Autumn Plant fairs we hold every year at RHS Hyde Hall.

This year the 2019 Autumn Plant Fair will be held over the weekend of

Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd September

For more information and details of the Fair and the walks and talks that will be taking place over the weekend please see the Group Events Page.

Acting on feedback following the Spring Plant Fair, RHS Hyde Hall have made improvements to the new location. Essex Plant Heritage Society are pleased to be part of future development of the site.

If you are interested in becoming a member and finding out how to help secure the future of threatened plants and support our Collection Holders, then either:

*  e-mail one of our Committee Members (their email addresses are on the Group Contacts Page )

*  come to one of our Coffee Mornings. We generally meet between 10.00 and 12.00 on the 2nd Tuesday of every month in the CafĂ© at RHS Hyde Hall. Just drop us a line if you want to attend so we can confirm the date and venue and look out for you on the morning.

The next Coffee Morning will be on Tuesday, 8 October 2019. There will be a Plant Heritage sign on our table so you know where to find us. We do hope you can join us!
