We hope you enjoyed last year's programme and will continue to participate in our events in the coming one. We have added more detailed directions to our indoor venues further down on this page.

Always on the early May Bank Holiday Monday. Our main fund raising event of the year, now the most prestigious Plant Fair in Hampshire, held in conjunction with Longstock Park Nursery and attended by over 30 specialist nurseries. Includes a members’ plant stall, hog roast, teas and beer tent. Ample free parking. Please bring clearly labelled plants for sales table. Longstock Nursery open all day.

In addition to the Spring Plant Fair, we also run a smaller event on the first Sunday in September.  This, as in previous years, will be held at Meon Orchard.  In addition to being able to visit a fascinating garden, we will be organising a number of plant stalls, where specialist nurseries will be offering some of their most interesting plants.   Teas with home-made cakes will be served all afternoon.  Open 2pm to 6pm, under the National Garden Scheme, the event is free to Plant Heritage members and children. Members of the public and members guests £4.Event Location: Meon Orchard, Kingsmead PO17 5AU. 1.5 miles north of Wickham, Turn left at Roebuck Inn. Meon Orchard is well signposted - see NGS signs - from the A32 and Wickham.

If you wish us to circulate additional information and event reminders to you electronically, but we do not have your Email address, please send this to Doug Smith at doug.smith@btinternet.com. For other information please email any of our committee – details are on the Group Contacts page and on the back of our Newsletters.

We have two usual locations for our talks. These directions will help you find them if they are unfamiliar to you:

Shawford Parish Hall: SO21 2AG. From the centre of Twyford, turn West to Shawford. Under railway bridge and immediately Right into Pearson Lane. The Parish Hall is on the right after a short distance.

Warnford Village Hall SO32 3LE – From the A32 at Warnford turn into Lippen Lane from the south and right past the George Inn from the north. The car park is opposite the hall.

Our AGM is held at Sparsholt College SO21 2NF - Take the B3049 Winchester to Stockbridge Road and turn in at the large sign to Sparsholt College. The room locations vary from year to year so look out for the signs.

All our events, for the year ahead, are listed on the Group Events page. These will be updated if there is a need to change the programme for any reason.
