Leading Garden Experts to speak at Flower Show

Leading plant conservation charity, Plant Heritage, is fielding a line-up of plant experts at Hampton Court Palace Flower Show this year.
Practical demonstrations and mini-workshops will be running throughout the week from the newly designed ‘Summer House’, situated just outside the marquee*.
These free talks will be hosted by a number of National Plant Collection® Holders, leading horticulturists and specialists, who will be exhibiting at the Show. The topics covered in each half hour session are varied and will appeal to both novice and expert gardeners.
For people looking for inspiration for the perfect pots all year round, Plant Heritage central feature designer, Selina Botham, designer for All Seasons, will be sharing her inspiring knowledge on plant combinations for pots. Michael Marriott, from David Austin Roses will be talking to visitors about the company’s National Collection of Rosa. Vicky Fox will be enticing Heuchera into hanging baskets and Jane Lindsay will enlighten visitors on raising the perfect climbers.
The marquee will host 9 National Collection Holders who will be selling plants, and on hand to give advice. Visitors can sift through over 4,000 packets of seed in on our ever popular Seed Shop, sponsored by Proctors Fertilisers, where they will find a fantastic range of rare and unusual plant seeds, many not commercially available, for a minimum donation of £1.50 each.
