To become a Plant Guardian you need to...

  • Be a member of Plant Heritage - join here
  • Own the plant
  • Know the full name of your plant - please note common names are not accepted
  • Have a good idea that it might be rare
  • Register it below

Please note that by joining the scheme, you are agreeing for us to give your contact details (either email or telephone number) to enquirers.

Once you have clicked 'Register my plant' the form will clear to allow you to enter another one should you wish to. A confirmation email will be sent for each plant.

We are seeking a Plant Conservation Officer to support our conservation programmes: National Plant Collections, Plant Guardians,Threatened Plants Programme; with responsibility for plant records and data.
