Help conserve the diversity of our cultivated plants

Your support (no matter how small) will make a huge difference.

Plant Heritage carries out vital work in the United Kingdom. Plants are essential for all life on earth and yet two-thirds of our cultivated plants are threatened with extinction and we need your help in continuing our work.

Your gift would help fund our National Plant Collections® which are at the heart of the conservation work we do to have a living library of our cultivated plants.

Monies raised will also
  • fund the Plant Guardian scheme which enables members to register the threatened or rare plants in their own garden
  • fund a volunteer to visit and assess a new Collection for the scheme
  • fund training workshops to update Collection Holders on plant related topics including research, taking herbarium specimens and micropropagation
  • fund access to online Plant Reference Library for Collection Holder research
