 Welcome to the Yorkshire Group’s page.

We are proud to have 37 National Collections in our area. They are held by 9 institutions and public gardens,3 nurseries and by 5 individuals. We offer them our support.

Regular fund raising plant fairs are held at RHS Harlow Carr in both Spring and Autumn. We also have stands at the Harrogate Flower Shows.

Members are encouraged to take part in the National Plant Exchange and become Plant Guardians and to donate spare seed to the seed exchange.

New members are always welcome, and helpers are always needed at our events.

In August all Plant Heritage members are invited to a free walk and talk tour of the Yorkshire Arboretum ( details on the events page)

We are looking forward to hosting the National Members’ Weekend in 2017. This will be on the first weekend in May.
