Threatened Plants Project

The Threatened Plants Project is a ground-breaking venture to discover which garden plants are rare and which ones aren’t.

It may seem odd that after over 30 years conserving cultivated plants, we don’t know specifically which ones are most urgently in need of conservation. One of the main issues is that there has been very little research done in this field; but we are going to change all that!

If you are interested in knowing which genera are currently being assessed, please click here for a list.

If you would like to participate (and it is open to all interested parties, not just Plant Heritage) please contact us to book a workshop, which will introduce the project and show you how to make your own contribution.
